Robotics & machine learning engineer
Robotics, from research to deployment.
My work spans UAV localization at Carnegie Mellon, production ML for autonomous vehicles at Motional, and flight instrumentation at NASA JPL.

Recent work
ML systems and software.
Background
Robotics in simulation and flight.
At Carnegie Mellon’s AirLab, I developed visual localization systems for UAVs, connecting computer vision and state estimation with onboard software and flight testing. My work ranged from simulation-based localization research to localization running on a Jetson payload during real flights.
At NASA JPL, I worked on spacecraft instrumentation, from prototype electronics through flight-hardware delivery. At Motional, my work has included production ML and search tools for autonomous-vehicle data.
Alongside that work, I build robots and software of my own, including LangVault, a Mandarin study app shaped by my own learning.
